Acusensus recognised nationally at the 2026 Australian Road Safety Awards for seatbelt non-compliance technology

Seatbelts save lives.

Acusensus has been recognised with the Technology Award at the 2026 Australian Road Safety Foundation Awards for our seatbelt compliance detection technology.

The numbers behind this award tell the real story. In 2021, Queensland Transport and Main Roads pioneered the use of our technology to detect seatbelt non-compliance, scaling from four to 21 solutions. Between August 2021 and December 2025, non-compliance rates improved fourfold.

These numbers represent people who buckled up and made it home to their families. That’s the real measure of success behind this recognition.
