Continuing Our Collaborative Work in Queensland to Change Behaviours and Save Lives

Acusensus is grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in its effort to keep local roads safe. Through this ongoing partnership, we will continue deploying our mobile phone and seatbelt detection technology to protect communities across the state.

Queensland’s TMR was the first jurisdiction in the world to pioneer automated seatbelt compliance enforcement, alongside distracted driving. This initiative coincides with real, life-saving results, as data shows a significant reduction in unrestrained fatalities on Queensland roads, with around 15 fatalities avoided each of the last two years compared to the previous four year average.

It is an honour to be working collaboratively with TMR to ensure every road user makes it home safely to their loved ones. We look forward to continuing this road safety journey together.
