Expanding Road Safety technology to Regional Western Australia

The Western Australia Road Safety Commission is taking a significant step in protecting regional communities with the expansion of its road safety camera program using Acusensus technology. We are proud to see this road safety program extend to regional roads, beginning in the Great Southern region.

This initiative reinforces a shared commitment to making WA roads safer, especially in regional areas, where road fatalities more commonly occur in the state.

This program leverages Acusensus’ Multi-function technology, designed to detect multiple behaviours that contribute to road trauma, simultaneously. The solution addresses mobile phone use, seatbelt non-compliance and speeding, providing comprehensive enforcement capabilities on regional roads.
