National Road Safety Week 2024: Remember the 1200

May 6, 2024

It is the time of the year where we shed light on Road Safety for a week – National Road Safety Week 2024 begins today. Every year, 1200 people are killed and another 40,000 are seriously injured on Australian roads. These numbers continue to grow but are preventable if we choose to ‘Drive So Others Survive!’

Road Safety is at the core of all Acusensus initiatives as we continue to innovate to ensure more lives are saved on our roads.

Acusensus currently has road safety programs across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT addressing dangerous driving behaviours such as speeding, non-compliant seatbelt use and distracted driving.

Acusensus supports the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group for the National Road Safety Week initiative and for raising awareness of the impact of road trauma.
