Shared Missions, Global Impact: A Year in Review
2025 was defined by shared efforts to reduce road trauma globally. Whether supporting the State of Connecticut with its first statewide automated enforcement initiative, or deploying a nationwide mobile speed camera network for New Zealand, Acusensus is honoured to assist our government clients in the important work to save lives.
Across Australia, we have seen substantial progress through deepened partnerships. In Queensland, alongside the expansion of our transportable speed enforcement program, our seatbelt technology has contributed to an almost 40% reduction in seatbelt related fatalities by the end of 2024 and is delivering up to $49M in annual social cost savings for the state.
We also celebrated the renewal of our foundational mobile phone and seatbelt contract in New South Wales and the launch of a new multi-function camera program on Western Australian roads. In the ACT, the transition to include seatbelt enforcement alongside mobile phone detection marks another significant step in addressing the Fatal Five behaviours.
Behaviour change is also seen outside of our Australian programs. Notably, our program with Devon and Cornwall in the UK demonstrated over 80% reductions in seatbelt and mobile phone offences, proving the efficacy of intelligent enforcement in fostering safer roads.
2025 also saw the launch of Forsite Connected Safety, a predictive safety solution designed to protect those who work on roadsides.
Every milestone achieved last year is a credit to the dedication of our team and the trust of our partners in government and law enforcement. We remain committed to the pursuit of Vision Zero in 2026 and look forward to the work ahead.
